I'm an experienced, semi-pro bassist (+ BV's + Grade 8) that's been lucky enough to be involved in all kinds of musical situations, from rock to funk to nu-country to pop etc.

In 2015, I parted company with the popular UK Bon Jovi tribute band - Bon Giovi, after 5+ years of playing all over the UK and overseas. Gigs with 'BG' have taken me to a dozen different countries including the Middle East and Russia!
Along with all the usual rock & tribute venues on the circuit, I've also played numerous theatres, festivals, private functions and weddings. Clients have included Hard Rock Cafe, Jack Daniels, Brannigans, MCN/Butlins , Arsenal FC & Armed Forces to name just a few.
The members of the band, minus 'Jon Bon', also had a second project - Airtight. This was mostly an '80 themed function band with extra instrumentation on backing tracks to create the sound of a bigger band on certain songs e.g. EWF's September.

I'm now free to pursue other projects and actively looking for dep work or a suitable 'permanent' band position (an established function band being the ideal scenario!?).

I sing backing vocals and play 6-str too. Although I''m usually harmonising with the frontman/woman, I'm not afraid to step up to the job of main vocal e.g. - performing as a duo in the summer of 2015, and tackling classic rock tunes with Porstmouth-based band, The Mafia.

I have my own gear and transport, a good sense of humour (need it getting in at 6am!) but always focused on the job in hand. Based in the South, I'm used to travelling the length and breadth of the country and have a full UK passport.

Some past dep gigs -
Retro Electro (80's) '@ The Tunnels, Bristol
Revolution (jazz-funk) @ Pendley Manor, Tring
The Strand (function) @ The Ageas Bowl, Southampton
The Bon Jovi Experience (tribute) @ The Stables, Milton Keynes

I've had the pleasure of teaming up with Tony the tiger several times now when kindly stepping in for Retro Electro. Firstly, what a great guy - so easy to get on with and extremely laid back..he takes it all in his stride! He's also a team player and will happily stay till the end of gig and help pack all equipment.

Most importantly Tony can pick up music at short notice and always delivers the goods!

If you're looking for a reliable bass player with a good sense of humour and superb groove, well, Mr 'TC' is your man!

I look forward to our next rhythmic adventure. :0>

All the best, Jona (Retro Electro)
byJames Wright,
I have played with Tony for yeeeears and I although he is very humble about his success, I think he is an extremely versatile and competent player. He is not only a fantastic bassist but a knowledgable musician. Extremely organised, always on time and always helps out. That's just how he rolls!
He is very easy to get on with, no egos here.
If you choose Tony to groove your group, you won't be disappointed.
Definitely worth the position

Have seen Tony play in various bands, and he's always fabulous. That's why, when I needed a live act to play at this year's Summer Ball for The Costello School staff at Warbrook House, I just made the one call. Thankfully Tony was available, and we are sure to have the most entertaining of nights. I highly recommend Tony. A more talented and charming musician, you couldn't wish to meet.
What can I say?
Tony is a top bassist I have had the pleasure of playing alongside in numerous bands over numerous years. I have yet to find a situation he hasn't adapted to very quickly and seamlessly.
If you need a bassist, look no further. I don't.. I go straight to Tony every time
